I don’t know whether you can believe this or not, but a Chinese sneaker brand managed to sell out its first run of the Walker Version 1, the brand’s own iteration of a chunky sneaker. Demand was so much that the company has decided to re-release the triple black edition of the shoe in March.

Featuring a chiseled outsole, multi-panelled design, ribbed mesh design and designer pedigree (the shoe was penned by Robbie Fuller, formerly of Adidas Hoops), it harks back true to the 90s trend. With Yeezy going down the same route, as well as Adidas (Yung-1) and Fila (Disruptor), it’ll be soon before long that these will take over the market once more. Fashion is a weird cycle.

You can expect the prices to be relatively cheaper than your usual fair, compared to the likes of Gucci and Balenciaga, though we don’t have an accurate figure on these yet, but stay tuned. Chunky yet funky, or lean yet mean?
