The first question anyone asks me when I tell them about The Level is – why ‘The Level’? It’s a valid question. We tossed around a lot of names before we decided on ‘The Level’; from dreadfully vanilla options like FMT Youth, to neo-band names like The Frontliners. Sony comes under fire over #FreeKesha

Following the decision of the Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Shirley Werner Kornreich to deny popular pop artist Ke$ha, real name Kesha Rose Sebert, release from her contract with Sony even though Ke$ha alleges that her producer, Dr. Luke, had previously raped her and continued abusing her throughout their association.   Of course, Dr. Luke denies Ke$ha’s claims and Sony itself refuses to release her as she is still under contract to release six more albums under Sony.
