CLOVR, a brand new VR initiative founded by Gan Chee Yong, will be launching on Kickstarter this 6th of March, 2018. Together with his team and help from current Chief Business of Development, Jan Wong – who is also the founder of OpenMinds™ Resources – CLOVR has been hard at work developing a mobile app which promises to be affordable whilst allowing true VR head tracking using the phones built in gyroscope sensor.
“We wanted to make VR affordable and accessible to everyone. Most of the current VR gear and software are just too expensive, which is why we came up with a solution to make VR available to the masses,” said Gan, the founder of CLOVR.
CLOVR’s Kickstarter campaign will launch on the 6th of March for 60 days with a funding goal of SGD 5,000. Pricing will be subscription based, with Kickstarter prices starting at SGD 8 for a years worth of access for super early bird pricing and SGD 12 for non early birds. Global launch will take place on September 2018.
