Well, it seems we’ll be seeing the last of Jordan x OVO collaborations very soon, as the rapper seeks to leave the brand, with some sources from Hypebeast claiming that he could probably be in cahoots with Adidas for a brand new partnership.

Drake would then be joining the likes of the others in the Adidas roster, such as Yeezy, as well as Pusha T. In retrospect, the decision then mirrors Kanye’s one to leave Nike and continue on with the Three Stripes instead.

What can we expect if the partnership is to happen? Unlike Kanye, who builds his own line and creates new silhouettes for Adidas, Drake’s style is mostly a minor rework of his favourite silhouettes donned in more luxurious materials. It’s quite unlikely that we’ll see an OVO Ultraboost, but Adidas’s selection of classics could be up for call.

Regardless, the splitting of the Canadian rapper’s brand with Jordan is bound to cause a bit of stir in the sneaker community. What’s say you readers? Should he have stayed with Jordan, or is the move a good decision?
