After an overwhelming response to vote for #GE14, AirAsia is launching fixed fares starting from last night, 12/4/2018. AirAsia’s group chief executive officer, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes announced via his Twitter account that AirAsia will be deploying more flights during the 14th General Election to encourage Malaysians to exercise their rights to vote.
“We will freeze whatever seats we have not sold for the day before and day after and put those seats on low fares. And put extra flights. Should be out by Monday,” he tweeted.
“Fares to Sarawak on the 8th and 9th will be RM120, to Sabah RM199 while to West Malaysia RM 99.”
“We are going to deploy Airasia X 330 at times it’s not flying. Revenue team working overtime to get this done. Say thanks to them.” His tweet reads.
He also stated that Air Asia flight price from Johor Bharu would follow the same pricing as from Kuala Lumpur.
Here’s your cue to exercise your rights as a Malaysian. Go out and vote – and let’s make a change for our country.
