Grab It With Confidence

Grab and 1 Utama team up to launch GrabZone 1 Utama, an exclusive pickup/drop off point for Grab customers!

Malaysia’s premier/no.1/top ride-sharing service, Grab, has teamed up with 1 Utama Shopping Centre to introduce GrabZone 1 Utama – the first of its kind dedicated pick-up zone!

Grab, which has been making strides in assuring the safety of their riders with the recent additions of an emergency button in-app, and in-car cameras to monitor your Grab rides, will now offer that same experience even before you get into the car.

Launched on 11th October, GrabZone 1 Utama is a designated pick up and drop off point for Grab riders situated at 1 Utama’s Highstreet Main Entrance. This new area allows Grab Riders a chance to catch their breath and enjoy the many art pieces by a local artist before departing in a Grab Car to their destination. Best of all, you now know exactly where to go every time – a huge plus when you’re talking about one of the most visited shopping malls in Malaysia let alone the largest mall in the country (and world’s 8th largest!).

This collaboration effectively extends the safe zone of the shopping mall all the way home and makes a trip to the shopping mall exactly what it should be – hassle free. No more missed rides or long walks to the meeting point, nor a reason to worry after your late night movie or social get together, GrabZone 1 Utama ensures you get where you need to be, with confidence and ease of mind. It makes perfect sense that 1 Utama would be the perfect partner in making sure riders always get home safe, given the mall’s high-standards of security and reputation for customer satisfaction.

Of course, no collaboration of this magnitude would be complete without some cool goodies to grab while you make use of the facility! Any Grab receipt to or from 1 Utama from 11 Oct 2017 – 11 Feb 2018 makes you eligible to receive 2 x unique Grab promo codes worth RM10 each when you sign up for a 5-year ONECARD membership at RM30. ONECARD is your passport to exclusive discounts and offers throughout 1 Utama that will make your trip all the more enjoyable – and affordable!

What’s great about the ONECARD? ONECARD is the Bandar Utama Loyalty Card, allowing you to earn and redeem UPoints at over 680 participating outlets within 1 Utama Shopping Centre and the Bandar Utama area. Just look for the sign! Between cheaper parking rates and access to members-only parking, they also get exclusive invitations to ONECARD sale previews, invitation-only events, members-only offers, gift redemptions and more!

You can even use UPoints like cash, or use facilities at The Club, Bukit Utama!

Want to get in on this? Here’s how:

Step 1: Book a Grab ride to / from 1 Utama.

Step 2: Flash your Grab receipt at 1 Utama’s Customer Service Centres or Concierge.

Step 3: Sign up for a 5-year ONECARD membership for only RM30.

Step 4: Two unique Grab promo codes worth RM10 each for the ride discounts to or from 1 Utama, will be sent to you by SMS.

For terms & conditions, check out http://grb.to/GrabZone1U

One more thing: exclusively for the next two days (11 – 12 Oct 2017), be sure to beat the heat or treat yourself to something sweet with complimentary Cornetto and Walls ice-cream, redeemable by presenting your Grab ride receipt at 1 Utama’s Customer Service and concierge counters.

What is ONECARD?

  • A loyalty card that allows you to earn and redeem UPoints at over 680 ONECARD participating outlets
  • Enjoy cheaper parking rates and access to members-only parking
  • Exclusive ONECARD sale previews, events and promotions
  • Access to facilities at The Club, Bukit Utama
