Japanese giant mobile gaming publisher and developer gumi Inc. announced that its Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) strategy mobile game, Crystal of Re:union will be launching soon. With titles such as Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and Brave Frontier under their belt, we can’t help but be excited for this new release. Some time before the end of the year, players in SEA and Oceania will be able to sink their teeth into yet another fun and addictive game.

Developed by Orange Cube Inc. and gumi Inc., Crystal of Re:union is a Real-Time Strategy game that occurs in the world of Midgard. Here, you’re King! While what you says goes, it doesn’t stop you from having to defend yourself from other players. With the aid of legendary heroes, players must lead their kingdom to glory.

The free game offers a truckload of content that is filled with RPG themes, such as complex plotlines and character developments. Additionally, with a large cast made up of more than 20 characters (voiced by popular Japanese voice talents), each with his or her own distinctive quirks and backstories, Crystal of Re:union is both substance and style.

There are also glimpses of power plays in this game because in order to come out winning, players need to juggle their relationships with different characters with deft hands, pun totally intended. Aside from that, one can form alliances with other players too to create the most glorious empire for the all of Midgard to witness!

With an in-game chat that is equipped with language support, players from anywhere on Earth will be able to interact with each other without much hassle.

Hironao Kunimitsu, President and CEO of gumi Inc. stated,

We are excited to expand our reach and bring Crystal of Re:union to players in the Southeast Asian and Oceania regions. The title has been very well received and successful in Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Macau territories since its launch earlier this year, and we believe that players in these new territories will similarly enjoy Crystal of Re:union’s unique mix of strategy and RPG. Moving forward, we look forward to delighting our players with games that offer the highest quality content, in-game balance and entertainment value.”

Pre-registration for Crystal of Re:union will commence soon and players who pre-register will also receive some snazzy in-game rewards.

The game will be available for download for free on both iOS and Android platforms soon. So do keep an eye out and we will let you know when we find out more.
