Ah, France. To a Malaysian, this conjures up images of the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, romance, and baguettes, but there’s so much more to France than just that – and we’re talking about Kroenenbourg, the fruity wheat beer that transformed The Square in Publika into a genuinely French experience, with sections of the outdoor area refashioned into areas named La Region Du Kronenbourg, Rue Du Kronenbourg and of course, Champs De La Publika.

In celebration of Bastille Day, Kroenenbourg brought hand massages, Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc infused sorbet and macaroons, mimes, cabaret performances, street magicians and popular jazz band – 9Lives to bring The Square to life for Le Moment in true vivre la France style. Members of the public were invited to take some time out, sit down, relax, and chat with each other- a rarity in the fast-paced KL environment.

The Kronenbourg “Pause for Le Moment” Street Party was held over the weekend in Publika, encouraging Malaysians to kick back, relax, and indulge in the French way of life.

Carlsberg Malaysia Marketing Manager Charles Wong had this to say about the massive Le Moment installation – “Living in the heart of Malaysia, it is often easy for us to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life. That’s why our Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc “Pause for Le Moment” is such an exciting and memorable event; it allows our consumers to taste the French Way of Life, where we get to appreciate all the little quality moments life has to offer. Trust me, as a brand, our Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc is definitely synonymous with Le Moment.”
