Attention, Mariah’s lambs!
90s superstar, Mariah Carey is making her comeback in Malaysia again this October! The 48-year old singer is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur which will take place at Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre on October 16.
Carey, who’s mostly known for her hit songs such as Emotions and All I Want For Christmas, has been cited as one of the greatest singers of all time, and has been referred to as Songbird Supreme by the Guinness World Records. Her music is largely influenced by gospel music, crediting The Clark Sisters and Shirley Caesar as some of her inspirations.
Rumors regarding the concert have been circulating for a while now, but fans shouldn’t have to worry anymore because it has been confirmed to be true by co-organiser PR Worldwide with a photo that says “E=MC²”. The equation is the name of Carey’s 11th studio album which was released in 2008.
This will be Carey’s first show in Malaysia since her last appearance at Stadium Merdeka in 2014. Tickets for Mariah Carey Live in Kuala Lumpur start at RM 398 and is scheduled to be available on Friday, April 27 at 11 am.
