Focus Dynamics Group Berhad has recently launched the Group’s first e-commerce site dedicated to wine named, Ministry of Wine. Since the launch, the Group has expressed that they aimed to achieve the goal of at least 5,000 labels of wine in the coming months, making www.ministryofwine.com.my one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Malaysia. The selections will include both Old and New World wines which are unmatched by any local physical wine retailer.

According to the Executive Director, Benson Tay, he believes the next 5 years will be an interesting period of time to watch as markets evolve with transformative outcomes of a more connected business, referring to the Group’s achievement on establishing a foothold in the food and beverage, entertainment and lifestyle industry in Malaysia. Director Tay also urged all businesses to take advantage of the digital era and start empowering their workforce and customers alike.

Ministry of Wine’s stately grandeur name arose from its vision to be the largest one stop e-commerce and warehouse hub on all things wine in Malaysia. The website leverages on the likes of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Digital Payments and Blockchain technology to name a few. This is an effort to enhance customer experiences by curating recommendations catered to the discerning tastes of wine lovers with various payment and delivery options available. (Yes, you can even customize a name onto the bottle as a gift!)

The Group believes that the appetite for wine is growing in Asia and  with the e-commerce fully taking off in Malaysia, Ministry of Wine aims to leverage the demand and supply sweet spot with the need of convenience.  They understand that wine consumers are all distinctive, hence have set up various methods to customize services such as AI curated recommendations, knowledgeable on-call receptionists, live chat options, interactive feedback, rating system and same day delivery options.
