You can argue that the SF-AF1 has been there the Nike roster since forever, but it’s enjoying a slow simmering comeback amongst the sneakerheads, blending in military inspired, utilitarian looks with basketball shoe aesthetics with comfort and agility to match.
Primary features of the shoe includes ballistic nylon replacing the leather in the heel area, as well as an ankle strap and dual zippers on the cage for easy access to the shoe. Popular colours include the standard all-white edition and suede black, but now comes what I think is one of the best non-military colour to ever grace the silhouette: Obsidian Blue. In suede. Oh yes.
Smaller details include industrial letterings on the heel cage, and metallic gold eyelets for a more eye-catching design, with the rest of the sneaker coloured in an understatedly beautiful shade of blue.
The boot retails at around USD 160 (approximately RM 652), and the colour has no official release date as of yet, but you definitely don’t wanna sleep on this.
Stay woke boys and girls.
