My fellow boys and girls, REJOICE. There’s no need to go to Isetan The Japan Store anymore to look at their middling collection of Off-White goods or fly to Singapore if you’re that desperate, because the high fashion brand is opening a pop-up store soon sometime this month.
From the instagram post teased by the brand, it seems the pop-up will take a bit of space at the Sephora building outside of Starhill Gallery. Details remain a bit scarce at this point, but we’ll update as soon as new information comes in.
Off-White’s launch here in Kuala Lumpur represents the second branch the brand has opened in Southeast Asia, with the first being Singapore, back in September 2016, and the fact that an actual physical store is opening here, pretty much signals that we’re a big enough consumer for streetwear. While the pop-up will only last for about 6 months from its launch date, fingers crossed, the hype is big enough for a permanent store to open instead. Stay hype, boys and girls.
