Ipoh has risen as a new found gem for Malaysia’s tourism industry after being touted as one of the most interesting towns to visit in the country. Some refurbished and some completely untouched, Ipoh’s architecture is a time capsule with rich histories – and ideal for your #NoFilter photo collection. To add to that, the good people at Kakiseni are throwing a big, 6-day party in Ipoh, celebrating its beauty by amplifying its essence through forums and activites.

Here’s a full fat list of things to do at the Other Festival 2017:

The Temporary Theater: Gadis Jalan Burmah

Written by the enigmatic Redza Minhat, Gadis Jalan Burmah starring Farah Rani received positive reviews, worthy of proper accolades when it premiered at Five Arts Centre, TTDI back in April. It’s interesting to see Kakiseni bringing this back and this time, in Ipoh for another round of applause.
