A bit too much, no?
Before this, a sample of an all-white Off-White Air Jordan 1s (Bear with me on the use of whites, there are plenty) was spotted on feet, suggesting another collection of the ‘The Ten’ could be in the works. However, a second Vapormax in triple white has surfaced, adding further speculation to the making of another collection.
The detailings of both the white and the original black colourway are about the same, save for the translucent swoosh stitching, as well as a new suede eyestay, where it previously was absent from the original one. Overall, it makes for a much more subtle, elegant looking silhouette compared to the bold design of the first iteration.
It’s slated for release around early 2018, but with another collection on the run, it seems that the saturation of Off-White Nikes is inevitable, which could potentially result in a reduction of the overall value of the collection. ‘The Ten’ by itself was already a great lineup, elevating previously overlooked shoes to fame when it was reconstructed by Abloh, but it will lose its shine and exclusivity, if rumours of another collection coming are true.
What say you, readers? More of Off-White goodness? Or call it quits and focus on something else?
