Phone brand vivo just launched their latest model V5 – an Android smartphone that is equipped with a 20 Megapixel front-facing camera, ensuring an ultimate selfie experience. The model was designed to capture selfies in clarity with vivid natural colours with the 20 MP front camera with soft light and photography software that enables users to take pictures in the dark.

Mike Xu, CEO of vivo Malaysia said, “Since the introduction of vivo in China in 2009, the brand has quickly grown and expanded over 103 countries and other regions across Asia. To-date, vivo has achieved 5.3% of international market share and is now ranked as the top five smartphone manufacturer in the global arena with the aim to sell more than 85 million units of smartphone worldwide in 2016.”

“The brand entered the Malaysian market in 2014 and we are proud to say that it receives very good response by Malaysian users, with a market share of 10% and ranked as top five smartphone brand in this short period. Now, we have up to 4,000 dealers, 2,000 staffs and 16 service centers nationwide. Also, we have been working closely with our media partners across print, digital platforms, airport advertising and out-of-home advertisements, with a total investment up to RM60 million over the year. At vivo, we are dedicated in the pursuit of true perfection, hence we will continuously focus on the user demands and apply cutting-edge technology on our products, and in the coming years, we will surely bring more exciting innovations to the Malaysian market,” he added.

Vivo also brings Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza on board to further cement their unique DNA, “Camera and Music”. Siti Nurhaliza, an iconic pop star known for her powerful vocals and mesmerizing looks, is probably a fan of taking selfies, thus, now using vivo’s latest model, she might enjoy that experience a little bit more.

“I’m impressed with the phone’s features, especially the selfie camera with softlight – now I can take more stunning selfie and wefie shots on every occasion, even in the dark and share it with my fans. Hence, when vivo approached me to represent the vivo V5, I felt so honored and excited to be appointed as its first-ever ambassador and to be part of professional vivo team. This also marks my first collaboration with a smartphone brand in Malaysia. Right now, this will be my ultimate camera phone to take perfect selfies, so do check out my Instagram for more!”
