Jackie Chan: It’s gonna be different from the rest

Jackie Chan has confirmed that the next instalment of the Rush Hour franchise is confirmed, and thank the lords, because believe it or not, the last Rush Hour movie was released a decade ago. Let that sink in for a bit.

Alongside promoting his new film, “Foreigner,” the 4th instalment of the movie has already been confirmed, with Chan saying that the script this time was good enough. Talking to Power106’s Cruz Show, Jackie said, “For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down the script, turning down the script. Yesterday, we just agreed.

“The script probably at the end of this month will have a second draft and next year, [we’ll] probably start.”

Caveat is: “If, Chris Tucker agrees.”

However, Chris has said that a sequel could work when he told US website Collider: “We’re trying to get it going. I think we might be able to get one going. I love working with Jackie and I think we could do a really fun one.”

Fingers crossed everything goes well, and hopefully we’ll get to see our favourite mismatched pair of detectives in action once again.
