Scene veterans SevenCollar T-Shirt last took part in The Great Battle back in 2009, waging war against the dark with spectacular tracks like ‘Tet Offensive’ and ‘Foreigner’ – creating an album that would tip them for two AIM17 nominations and one that local music enthusiasts still spin today.

While their contemporaries like LoveMeButch and Prana seem to have taken the last couple years off alongside Saiful Ridzuan Sharafuddin, Muhammad Abdullah, Adil Ali, and Sim Keng Lee, it’s clear that with Malaysian indie back up on the rise that there’s plenty of space for the veterans to stand back up and bring their craft even further. To that end, SevenCollar T-Shirt have just released the music video for a brand new single, ‘Lines’, and it’s everything we’ve ever wanted from a local music video.

Top-notch production, great visuals, and most importantly, great music makes this one of the best Malaysian music videos so far – continuing the streak set by Golden Mammoth with ‘Malicious Judicious’ and our Best Malaysian Song of 2017 chart toppers Pastel Lite. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
