Springtime is here once again and The Smurfs are delighted! This time around, you get to witness the performance of the Smurfies coming to life right before your eyes at Resorts World Genting at Genting Highlands! Directed by John Rowe and choreographed by Katie Kermond, the 70-minute magical extravaganza titled Smurfs Saves Spring follows the journey of the Smurfs as they embark on a whimsical adventure to save Mother Nature and spring!

Springtime is the Smurfs’ most favorite time of the year and they’re happy to be basking in the sunlight, watering the flowers and singing songs while they’re at it! However, an evil wizard who is also a longtime nemesis of The Smurfs, Gargamel, cannot stand all the cheerful spirit that comes with the springtime, especially when the Smurfs are happily singing together. Quietly, he plotted a plan to destroy springtime for eternity but the Smurfs work together to save their beloved Spring Parade.

Celebrating its 60th year this year, The Smurfs is a Belgian comic franchise that has been around ever since 1958. The storylines often revolve around simple tales that incorporate moral values into each of the plot. Over the years, the franchise expands from just comic books into video games, TV, theme parks, advertisements, films and live shows. The live-action show has been touring across the globe since 2014 and has entertained 150,000 audiences accumulatively.
