Sushi King may be the oldest japanese food chain in Malaysia, but over the years things change quite drastically. The Sushi place recently acquired a halal logo from JAKIM, but the quality of its products have dropped badly recently. However, that doesn’t mean there are no room for improvements, because Sushi King just pulled its wild card.
Behold, Sushi King’s brand new Durian and Matcha-flavored softserve ice cream, now available at selected popular stores. The interesting bit it is, that Sushi King isn’t the first F&B franchise to push Malaysians to the edge of their seats by using Durian’s super marketing powers – because McDonald’s did it first with its D24 ice cream that was sold out in just mere weeks.
How will this daring experiment turn out? Try the ice cream now at Mid Valley, Sunway Pyramid, AEON Shah Alam, AEON Bukit Raja and Setapak Central.
