UniFi providers TM Connects recently launched their 100 MBps UniFi PRO plan, and TIME Internet, who offered 100MBps minimum speeds before it was mainstream (lol), took the chance to poke a little fun at the telecomms giant joining the 21st century.

It started innocuously enough with a little Facebook post from TIME gloating over having provided 100MBps speeds (again, before it was popular) but nonetheless welcoming TM to the high-speed internet family. Someone from TM wasn’t taking it lying down though, and jabbed TIME for their less-than-complete service area.

TIME had the last laugh, however, ruthlessly pointing out that TM had taken a RM1.4 billion government grant to pay for their fibre rollout.

One thing’s for sure though-in the battle to see who can provide the fastest internet, we, the users, win.

Stay tuned for updates!
