Two boys from Malaysia: Adam Roshan and Mohd Yusry, the finalists of the Million Dollar Feet programme undertook a trial training session at the Nottingham Forest training grounds in front of footballing scouts from across the prestigious English Premier League and First Division.
After a successful performance at the Million Dollar Feet Malaysian Grand Final, Adam Roshan from Kuala Lumpur and Muhd Yusry took on a series of football drills and gameplay alongside the under-16 side of the Nottingham Forest club within the Forest grounds. Under cold conditions, the boys performed greatly during an intense two-hour session that included high-performance skill based challenges.
The two attracted scouts from Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea, and Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton. Derby County and Nottingham Forest were also paying close attention to Adam Roshan and Muhd Yusry as they impressed during the trials. Things are looking great for the Million Dollar Feet initiative in finding a footballing future for the boys, as representatives from all over the UK witnessed Malaysian talent and potential firsthand.
The future doesn’t look so bad for Malaysian football now lads, get in!
