Paying tribute to over 50 years of “Off The Wall” design history, Vans releases the Anaheim Factory pack – a collection of Classic silhouettes that draw inspiration from the original line produced in Anaheim, California. When Vans opened for business in 1966, a 400 sq. ft. retail store was connected to the front of the production factory. Today, the brand is calling on their early styling cues to update the Vans Icons as part of the ongoing Classics “Not Just One Thing” campaign.

Following the nostalgia trend that has swept 2017 off its feet, every design element in the Anaheim Factory pack can be dated back to the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. Style numbers are used to signify the original design mold of the three footwear models – the Authentic 44, Old Skool 36 and Sk8-Hi 38. Each style utilizes a marshmallow sidewall with a higher profile and is treated with a slight sheen that was present after going through Vans’ original vulcanization process. The entire collection features heavy 10-oz. canvas while the Sidestripe models showcase a suede toe cap, heel counter and eyestay. Every colorway including the racing red, mineral green and light grey could have been found in the original Anaheim Factory store. That being said, enjoy a modernized take on the Vans Classic Icon silhouette with a modern UltraCush footliner.

The Anaheim Factory pack ranges from RM299- RM359 and is available to shop globally in Vans retail stores and Authorized dealers.
