Sony Mobile announces the Xperia XZ1 and XA1 Plus, two new flagship phones from it’s Xperia line. Now, for those who don’t know what all the fuss is about, the XZ1 is a smartphone that features real-time 3D capture. With some of Sony’s latest innovations from Cyber-shot™, ɑ™, Bravia™, VAIO®, Handycam®, and Walkman®,  you will be assured some impressive hardware.

The Xperia XZ1 (RM2999/available end-September 2017) will come with an impressive amount of camera features to be paired with their 19MP camera. You will get 3D Creator, super slow motion video (960 FPS at 720p), new smile predictive capture and autofocus burst from the Motion-Eye™ camera to capture everything in stunning beauty. All this while sporting that iconic Sony look in a 5.2” Full HD HDR display, High-Resolution Audio and a unique OmniBalance approach to their sturdy unibody metal design.

To talk a bit more about the 3D capture, expect the ability to easily capture and render 3D models of your subject with four scan modes: head scan, face scan, food scan and freeform scan. With easy directions for the software, you will be sharing or 3D printing your models in no time. Just make sure to have plenty of smooth, even lighting before doing any capturing.

As for the XA1 Plus (RM1499/available October 2017), this mid range phone will give you a 23MP high resolution rear camera with a large 1/2.3” sensor. With a bright F2.0 lens, capturing those low-light images in high resolution should no longer be an issue. Which you could always of course look at on the 5.5” Full HD display that provides bright and vivid colours.
